Philipp Krüger is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Geneva Finance Research Institute, a multidisciplinary research centre located at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics in France. In his PhD thesis, he has studied questions at the interaction of finance, corporate governance and corporate sustainability. More recently, he has created and taught a graduate course on Sustainable Investing at the University of Geneva. In current research, he is studying questions such as how psychological biases influence real and financial investment decisions and whether the stock market values corporate sustainability initiatives in the very short run. His research is regularly presented at the best international finance conferences and has received or been nominated for awards from organizations such as the Principles for Responsible Investment, the BSI Gamma Foundation, Chicago Quantitative Alliance, the Financial Management Association and the European Financial Management Association.
